Cork Gaskets

Cork gaskets, seals and rubber gaskets are used in many automotive and sealing applications. They are known for their remarkable sealing and insulation properties. Its superior recovery properties allow it to outperform pure rubber and fibres in various applications. They combine not only the compressibility and recovery characteristics of cork but also the flexibility of rubber. This improves the durability and resistance to chemicals, oils, and fuels. It is highly compressible and elastic, allowing it to form tight seals against irregular or variable surface finishes. Therefore, it is excellent for sealing applications and has anti-vibration properties on the rubber-moulded parts.

The quality of the gaskets in industrial applications is superior to agglomerate or rubber alone. Alongside press-cut gaskets, we have recently developed our products to include moulded components and also cork rubber, including 3-dimensional shapes. Our product has compressibility and recovery characteristics, in addition to the stability and resistance of rubber. Consequently, this product provides excellent sealing properties at temperatures up to 180 ˚C.
